Beacon Award

This month the East Ham electrical trackside equipment project team received a Beacon Award. The team were recognised for their exemplary HSE performance, during the construction of the under-track crossing and subsequent direct current cable installation, for the electric track equipment upgrade.

Martin Douglas, London Underground HSE Manager, said: ‘This award really recognises that there was excellent collaborative work between all parties and Lowery in particular, used initiatives to implement excellent HSE standards’.

The Beacon achievement is undoubtedly praiseworthy and recognises the high standards being achieved by the entire team, who are safely carrying out specialist work in a confined and complex site.
