Christmas Donations

New Forest Basics Bank

Leading up to the festive period, Lowery delivered a number of Christmas Food Hampers and Advent Calendars to the New Forest Basics Bank. This was our contribution to 2021’s campaign to distribute over 200 hampers to those in need this festive period across the New Forest. After a particularly tough couple of years, with families seeing reduced income due to COVID-19 and increasing living costs, these banks are seeing demand for supplies increase so we were keen to support the initiative.

Lowery supported this brilliant campaign as we continue to work on a number of projects within the New Forest for Network Rail, as part of its support to communities where our projects are located.

A special thanks to Dharma and David who completed these deliveries on the 10th December as part of Lowery’s continuing Volunteering Scheme, which is open to all employees, all year round. The scheme allows personnel to take a day off a year to support a charity, without using their annual leave.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospice

Additionally, Lowery also make an exciting delivery of toys and much needed supplies to Shooting Star Children’s Hospice based in Hampton (close to our offices in Ashford, Middlesex) as part of our Secret Santa campaign this Christmas. This is the fourth year we have run a Secret Santa donation scheme, demonstrating our on-going support to various campaigns in the communities around our permanent project offices.
