Lowery go for Gold!

Lowery staff were told to 'get on their bikes' as part of their Safe Urban Driving training, which is part of Lowery's initiative to attain FORS (Freight Operator Recognition Scheme) Gold Standard by the end of 2016.

The vulnerability of cyclists is not always appreciated by motorists, so the training focussed on a hands on approach to cyclist safety. 

It was an eye opener in more ways than one for our staff. Some were alarmed by the attitude of many motorists to cyclist safety, while others realised how out of shape they were after getting on a bicycle for the first time in years!
