Lowery HSQE – Emergency First Aid & Defibrillator Training Refreshers

Within our ongoing annual safety campaigns Lowery HSQE are also including onsite Emergency First Aid refresher training using the industry recognised Annie doll and defibrillator unit. Lowery’s aim is to continually assess & refresh our staff’s knowledge on how to do basic lifesaving skills.

Lowery Ltd – Civils, Signalling & Power – Bridge Works Complete HS2 Enabling Works (Birmingham SAS13)

Following months of careful planning Lowery’s Signalling Stage works Design, Comms, P/way & Civils departments came together to enable the replacement of the SAS Bridge 13 over the Derby Lines at Birmingham delivering this significant Milestone for Skanska’ HS2 Project at Birmingham.

LUL South Harrow Cable Route Management System

LUL South Harrow Cable Route Management System Works are progressing on our LUL contract for the installation of a new Cable Route Management System between South Harrow sidings and Sudbury Hill substation, required as part of the TfL Piccadilly Line Upgrade Programme (PLU).

2021 Safety Survey – Charitable Donation

In December 2021, Lowery conducted our annual health and safety climate survey. This survey allows all personnel and sponsored subcontractors the opportunity to provide their feedback on the company's performance regarding health and safety issues. Participation this year was equal to 83% of our workforce. Thanks to all the staff who actively participated in the questionnaire the company have made a £240 donation to Cancer Research, the charity who received most nominations by participates, equivalent to £5 per response.

Euro VI Large Good Vehicle’s (LGV) under Construction As part of Lowery’s ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we have set objectives to make our fleet of vehicles more sustainable. At present, we currently have two new Euro VI standard Volvo LGV’s on order which are under construction at Mac Trucks.
