LOWERY LTD EUSTON PROJECT HIGH VOLTAGE PLC COMMISSIONING XMAS WORKS – 2020/2021

As part of the Euston HS2 enabling works Lowery safely carried out and completed the final commissioning of the High Voltage PLC Auto Changeover Scheme. At the planning stage of the works the Lowery Team were able to configure the commissioning strategy to significantly reduce the required de-energisation of Euston station down to a minimal amount of time. This revised strategy allowed the PLC commissioning works to be completed without additional risk to the Euston Station’s existing high voltage equipment infrastructure.

An immense volume of work was completed over the Xmas break by Lowery Ltd at London Bridge.

LOWERY LTD - Track Maintenance Hitachi Depot Ashford

As part of Lowery Ltd ongoing track inspection & maintenance contract at Ashford Lowery undertook a part replacement of Nr 3 Points specifically the left hand switch. This failure caused the points to be bared to all facing moves and as such operationally constrained the depot stopping train sets moves between the North & South sides of the depot.

This year Lowery decided to send all of its office and onsite workers a hamper each to show our appreciation for all of their hard work.

New Eco-Friendly Additions to the Lowery Fleet

Lowery have added 3 new welfare vans to our fleet this month. With an investment of over £100,000.00, the EURO CAT6 vans have been converted into welfare units built to our own High specifications and standards.

This month our Euston High Voltage Project was chosen for the staff engagement tour enabling direct feedback from our people on how we can continue to improve their well being and the work place in which they work.
